London Showroom Flat
It was an honour to be asked to transform the initial austerity of a high quality, freshly built modern 3-Bedroom, 2 bathroom London Flat into an inviting home - perfect for a professional couple or young family.
INTERIOR DESIGN - GALLERY
The staging of this Manor House London new-build, began on an extremely limited budget. With a small array of tastefully chosen items - some from antique stores, some from thrift shops (and, of course, some new plants for accent) - the ‘lived in’ look came together beautifully.
Not everyone has a good imagination.
With nothing on the walls and no indication of how multi-functional each room might be (or where the eye should look), an empty construction can be daunting. Even a high quality brand new build can repel potential interest as rooms can appear too small for furniture, too boring in design and possibilities, or simply too plain.
In this Manor House flat, potential buyers could see a realistic and pleasing use - item colours and textures echoing the modern clean lines and natural materials of the new construction - and find themselves effortlessly invited to transpose their own taste and belongings into each space.
Potential buyers after all, are looking for an impression only, an idea of how their own furniture might look in a new space. It’s best to create specific focal points to direct the eye, establish the use of the space, and allow the rest of the room to, in a sense, support that focal point.
